UPDATE (19th October 2010) - Click here for Tackle & Guns Show 2010

Fishing-Tackle.co.uk were warmly welcomed to the 2009 Tackle & Guns Trade Show on Sunday 18th October, at Stoneleigh Park. And what a show it was...

The T&G show celebrated its 10th anniversary in style with more exhibitors than ever before (over 130) - testament to the excellent standards experienced. Exhibitors and organisers certainly put a great amount of effort into presentation. T&G report that the initial tally looks like the number of buyers was one of the highest ever as well - amazing considering the current financial climate. It looks like UK tackle retailers are looking optimistically at 2010, which is great news for everyone.

It was apparent that a number of overseas buyers had made the journey over to the UK to visit this well regarded show. Another observation was the presence of some key, global brands - namely Oakley, Carl Zeiss and Swarovski Optik.

As well as more brands than ever, dozens of UK firsts and even a couple of world firsts from the shooting industry, the 2009 show featured the biggest ever brand launch with Japanese bait giant, Marukyu choosing the event as their official launch pad into the UK & European markets.

Over the course of the next few weeks we'll be reporting on a number of new innovations that we discovered, so please keep an eye on the Fishing-Tackle.co.uk home page for all the latest updates.
