Posted by Editor On November - 5 - 2011

Savage Gear SaltWe always enjoy discovering what Savage Gear have been up to and there were quite a few 'finds' at this year's T&G Show. One of the most visually impressive was the new range of Savage Gear Salt Spinning Rods.

These lure rods look fantastic in pearlescent white and while they Read the rest of this entry »

New Avid Carp Couch & Retaining Sling

Posted by Editor On October - 30 - 2011

Avid CarpAvid Carp have a fantastic new range of 'carp care' products designed and tested with the assistance of their consultancy team. We examined two of them at the Tackle & Guns Trade Show - the Carp Couch and the new Retaining Sling. Both looked the absolute bees knees in both design and materials used.

In short, he's a pretty interesting guy and no doubt a Read the rest of this entry »

Berkley NanoFilWe didn't get a clear answer when we spoke to the Pure Fishing representative at the Tackle & Guns Trade Show yesterday, but it would appear that the amazing new Berkley Nanofil will be in the shops before 2011 is out - or ever so slightly more accurate, in 'one or two months'.
We can't wait to try out the thinnest versions of this line. We got to man-handle the line yesterday and have to say Read the rest of this entry »
