IMA Soft Plastic Lures

Posted by Editor On September - 10 - 2012

ImaYou may not have heard of IMA before, unless you're already reasonably interested in lure fishing. In comparison to lure manufacturers like Rapala, IMA is the new kid on the block and part of a cool, new wave of tackle manufacturers reaching our shores from Japan. The cool kids love them. Anoraks like me love them. But best of all, the fish seem to love them too. Out of Read the rest of this entry »

Decoy Pluggin Single Hooks

Posted by Editor On April - 13 - 2012

Decoy Pluggin SinglesIt's that time of year again. You can feel the first warmth in the sunshine, there's buds on the trees and the birds are singing. As a lure angler you're starting to think 'Bass'.

If like me, you haven't already set yourself up for the coming season, now's the time to make sure all your favourite lures are ready to go, the moment the fish are in. Posted by Editor On September - 24 - 2011

Sakura Rock PocketFor me, part of the enjoyment I've taken from discovering ultralight lure fishing, whether that be saltwater LRF or fishing for freshwater Perch, is from the increased mobility and comfort levels experienced. When I started fishing this style just under a year ago now, I didn't really know which lures and jigs I was going to use from one session to the next. But as my experience has grown, I have acquired a few favourites from the mountains of gear I used to carry and I've identified exactly what to use at certain, Read the rest of this entry »
